SSP France, leading operator of food and beverage concessions in travel locations, has been selected to open a new restaurant with Réunion des Musées Nationaux as part of the new refurbishment of renowned Parisian museum, the Grand Palais.
SSP has partnered with leading figure in French gastronomy, Thierry Marx to bring luxury cuisine to the Parisian landmark. The Michelin-starred chef has been a strong advocate for culinary innovation and sustainable cuisine for a number of years and will be bringing that philosophy to this latest venture. From locally sourced ingredients to sustainable operational practices, this restaurant will have sustainability at its core.
Thierry Marx said; “As a child, the Grand Palais was a key source of inspiration for my imagination. From my visits to the Palais de la Découverte to the numerous exhibitions I attended and recent culinary events, this institution has always been intertwined with my development. It’s an honour to have visitors enjoy my food at all locations and this new space is no different. As culinary creators, we aim to help people forge lifetime memories and I can think of no better place to do this than here with the SSP team.”
Gérard D’Onofrio, Managing Director, SSP France said; “SSP has been part of the culinary landscape of Paris for many years, operating outstanding F&B both at Paris’ leading airports as well as the world famous Train Bleu. It’s extremely exciting to be undertaking this new project at yet another Parisian flagship location.”
The restaurant will be located at the heart of the Grand Palais and the Palais de la Découverte will begin trading April 2025.
