With TFWA Asia Pacific Hainan Special Edition just over a week away, a number of world-renowned travel retail businesses have now officially pledged support for the event.
A stellar line-up of speakers will headline the conference and also host a series of online workshops. These will focus on pressing topics including the progress of duty free and travel retail in Hainan; the digitalisation of retail; the future of the luxury market; and travel in a post-pandemic world. The conference on 22nd June (beginning at 9am CET/3pm HKT) will begin with an introduction from the TFWA President before a round table discussion featuring leading retailers CDFG, Dufry, DFS Group, Gebr Heinemann and Lagardère Travel Retail. A further session will address the immediate future for travel and tourism, with contributions from senior executives at ACI Asia Pacific, IATA, Pacific Asia Travel Association, Duty Free World Council and APTRA. The conference will close with a look at how the current crisis has influenced purchasing behaviour, courtesy of consumer expert Nathalie Nahai.
