Airport Dimensions takes home two prestigious industry awards

Airport Dimensions, the global leader in airport lounges and travel experiences, has received official recognition of its outstanding achievements by scooping a pair of prestigious industry awards.

Airport Dimensions bagged a top prize at this year’s World Travel Awards, where its Club Aspire Lounge at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 was named as Europe’s Leading Airport Lounge 2021. The premium lounge, developed in partnership with Swissport (SwissportALD) although currently closed due to COVID, provides passengers with a quiet, safe space to relax and benefit from a wide range of luxury travel services, from complimentary digital newspapers and unlimited WiFi to a free seasonal hot food menu and a Business Zone for business travelers.

The company was also named as winner at the Moodie Davitt FAB Superstars Awards in the Innovation (Europe) category. Taking part during the first virtual edition of The Moodie Davitt FAB conference, these awards shone a spotlight on food & beverage teams in the airport community that went above and beyond to keep the industry going during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The award win recognized a collaboration between Airport Dimensions, global lounge access program Priority Pass, aviation services company Swissport, and hospitality technology experts Servy. The group worked together to implement the contactless food and beverage ordering platform Ready 2 Order at the Club Aspire lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 5. Ready 2 Order was developed to provide a contactless solution that helps maintain the provision of complementary food and drinks to members in lounges using their mobile device, binging an added level of personalization, convenience and safety for guests and staff.

Errol McGlothan, Managing Director (EMEA & APAC) at Airport Dimensions said: “These awards are a wonderful recognition of the incredible work our teams have put in to provide outstanding hospitality across our lounge network, and introduce innovative physical and digital services that are improving the airport experience for travelers. This also highlights the strength of our strategic partnerships with some of the leading businesses in the airport environment, which has led to the creation of new concepts that are perfectly crafted to meet the needs of today’s busy traveler. We know that the travel market is constantly changing, so we will continue to adapt and invest in improvements for our lounges in the future based on our detailed understanding of the passenger.”
