Airport Dimensions, a global airport experience specialist and leader in the US lounge market, is strengthening its line-up of lounges with the opening of a number of new locations, expanding on a current network of 28 locations at 19 airports.
The biggest lounge provider in the US, Airport Dimensions will further expand its lounge brand, The Club, with new lounges launching later this year at airports including Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (The Club CLE) and Charlotte Douglas International Airport (The Club CLT).
The Club CLE, with its open ambiance, natural lighting and views over the busy airfield, has been designed by award-winning Texas-based architects Ibanez Shaw. It will offer The Club’s signature designated zones to ‘Rest, Relax, and Replenish’, providing a high-end airport experience for the modern traveler.
The lounge will be launched in partnership with local Airport Concessions Disadvantage Enterprise Floh Vodka, FLOHPORT LLC, a Cleveland based minority business owned company. FLŌH serves up a hand crafted, small batch, gluten free, allergen free and Kosher Seal certified Vodka made from the finest American corn and pure Oregon water. The Club CLE guests can be sure that when they experience FLŌH - The Caviar of Vodka - they will be introduced to a life of luxury and ultra-sophistication.
The Club CLT will showcase the culture and heritage of the city it serves, taking inspiration from Charlotte’s rich ‘gold rush’ banking history and the idyllic mountainous terrain across North Carolina. The lounge, designed by leading US architecture firm Corgan, will make use of warm and inviting lighting and southern-inspired furnishings will feature luxurious gold accents, as well as natural and deep jewel tones. The lounge will offer a full-service menu with locally inspired dishes, and a bar will stock a wide variety of Charlotte-sourced beverages.
Additional openings across the US are planned in 2022 and 2023, with The Club SFO at San Francisco International Airport a notable location on the list. Scheduled to welcome its first visitors in Spring 2023, the Club SFO will be located in the new Harvey Milk Terminal 1. The lounge, also designed by Corgan, will provide a homey experience blending the warmth of the great Redwood Forest and the relaxed spirit of San Francisco. The San Francisco traveler will enjoy a luxury design and with a focus on passenger health and wellness. A number of local partnerships will weave in true Northern Californian experiences: the lounge will feature artwork from the San Fransisco Museum of Modern Art, plus a locally-inspired world class food and beverage offering supported by culinary partnerships with local favorites and some new talent on the scene.
Travelers at the new lounges will have numerous options to enjoy access, including via the world’s largest independent lounge membership program Priority Pass, a Collinson company and sister company to Airport Dimensions.
These new launches in the US build upon fast-growing expansion across the Airport Dimensions business, including growth in the Middle East with a new sleep offering launched in 2020, as well as the development of enhanced digital experiences with leading ecommerce and relationship platform Connecta.
Nancy Knipp, President (Americas) at Airport Dimensions, said; “It’s great news for us at Airport Dimensions to be expanding our business in the US even further, and partnering with new airports at prominent, international locations. Despite the slowdown of travel in the last year, airports are keen to push ahead with plans for expansion, and having the right spaces for travelers to rest and relax will be absolutely vital.”
Airport Dimensions will be announcing plans to open additional lounges at new locations shortly.
